Buffet Meatballs

1 1/2 lbs ground venison
2 cups sour cream
2 TBSP ketchup
1 1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp garlic salt
1/2 tsp oregano
1 TBSP oil
1 TBSP water
2 tsp dill weed

Combine venison,1/4 cup sour cream,ketchup,1 tsp salt,pepper,garlic salt and oregano.
Shape into meatballs the size of walnuts.
Brown balls in hot oil. Pour off excess oil.
Add water,cover and simmer 15 minutes.

Deep Fried Turkey



1 wild turkey breast fillet, cut ito 1/2 inch thick pieces across grain
crushed cracker crumbs
Try dipping turkey in buttermilk first, then in cracker crumbs to make sure they stick
