Bisquick Cinnamon Rolls

2 1/2 cups Bisquick
2/3 cup of milk
2 T melted butter

1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1/2 cup chopped nuts
3/4 cup butter, melted and cooled

1 cup powdered sugar
1-2 Tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla

In a large bowl, Combine Bisquick, butter, milk, in a bowl using a fork. Mix just until all combined to create a dough.

Refrigerator Dill Pickles

6 to 8 pounds pickling cucumbers
40 fresh dill sprigs
2 large onions, thinly sliced
5 garlic cloves, sliced
1 quart water
1 quart white vinegar
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup canning salt

Cut each cucumber lengthwise into four spears. In a large bowl, combine the cucumbers, dill, onions and garlic; set aside.
In a Dutch oven, combine the remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil; cook and stir just until salt is dissolved. Pour over cucumber mixture; cool.
Cover tightly and refrigerate for at least 24 hours.
Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 months.

Steak Fajita Wraps

2 tbs garlic herb seasoning mix
1 1/2 tbs oil
1 lime, zested, juiced
2 1/2 pounds flank steak
8 flour tortillas, lightly grilled

Heat grill. In bowl, combine seasoning, oil, 1 tbs lime juice, and 1 tsp zest, brush onto steak. Grill to desired doneness. Let sit 10 min. Slice.

Serve with tortillas.

Makes 8 Servings

4 Ingredient Cake

1 pkg. (2 layer) cake mix
1 pkg. (4 serving size) instant pudding
1 3/4 C. milk
2 eggs
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips or 1 c. chopped nuts (opt.)

Combine cake mix, pudding, eggs and milk in large bowl. Mix by hand until blended. Add any optional ingredients (chocolate chips, nuts, etc.). Pour into greased and floured 10" bundt or tube pan.
Bake 50 to 55 minutes in a 350 degree oven until cake springs back when lightly touched.
Cool 15 minutes and remove from pan.

**Vary the flavors to change the cake. For example, yellow cake mix with pistachio pudding, add walnuts.

Washington Cherry Cream Cheese Pie

6 ounce graham cracker pie crust
8 ounce package cream cheese, softened
14 ounce can sweetened condensed milk (NOT evaporated milk)
1/3 cup lemon juice, fresh or bottled (NOT lemon extract)
1 teaspoon vanilla
21 ounce can cherry pie filling

Let cream cheese stand at room temperature until softened. In medium bowl, beat cream cheese until light and fluffy.
Slowly add sweetened condensed milk, beating until smooth.
Stir in lemon juice and vanilla until well mixed.

Pour into crust. Chill 3 hours until firm and then top with cherry pie filling.


3 Ingredient Chicken

Packet of Dry Italian Seasoning Mix
1/2 C. Brown Sugar

Mix the Italian Seasonings packet and brown sugar,
Coat chicken on all sides. Line pan in foil because the dressing/Sugar will caramelize.

Bake 350 degrees until golden brown 25 min on each side.

Peach Frozen Yogurt

1 (16-oz.) bag frozen peaches or 4 cups fresh peaches, frozen solid
3 Tablespoons agave nectar or honey
1/2 cup plain yogurt (non-fat or whole)
1 Tablespoon fresh lemon juice

Add the frozen peaches, agave nectar (or honey), yogurt and lemon juice to the bowl of a food processor. Process until creamy, about 5 minutes.
Serve the frozen yogurt immediately or transfer it to an airtight container and store it in the freezer for up to 1 month.

Orange Chicken Stir Fry

Salt and Pepper
4 cups broccoli florets
1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
1 tsp. 5 spice powder
2 Tblsp. oil
3 green onions, sliced
1/3 cup orange marmalade
2 Tblsp. soy sauce
2 cups cooked rice
1/3 cup sliced almonds, toasted

Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add broccoli, return to a boil. Cook 1 min. drain.
Season chicken with salt, pepper and 5 spice powder. Warm oil in a skillet, add chicken, cook until cooked through.
*Add 1/2 of green onions, sauté 30 seconds. Stir in broccoli, marmalade and soy sauce.

Grilled Cabbage

1 head cabbage
4 teaspoons butter
4 slices bacon
Spice mix
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese


Cut cabbage into four wedges.
Place each wedge on a piece of doubled heavy-duty aluminum foil.
Spread cut sides with butter.
Mix spices together in a small container and sprinkle all of the mixture equally over each wedge.
Wrap bacon around each wedge.
Fold foil around cabbage, sealing each wedge tightly.

Veggie Sandwich

1 honey wheat bagel, toasted
1 slice onion
Sliced tomato
Sliced cucumber (I use the English cucumber)
Alfalfa sprouts
Real mayonnaise

Spread mayonnaise on 1/2 of toasted bagel and hummus on the other half. Assemble sandwich and enjoy!

Southern Fried Cabbage

1 pound ground beef
1 head of cabbage, chopped
1 onion, chopped
1/2 green pepper, chopped
1 teaspoon salt and pepper, or to taste
2 tablespoons butter
1 pinch white sugar
3 slices of bacon, cut into thirds (optional)
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Fry ground beef just until done.
Add remaining ingredients and cook until vegetables are tender.

Simple Cole Slaw

1/2 large head cabbage, shredded
2 carrots, shredded
1/2 white onion, grated
1 cup homemade Dijon mayonnaise (or 1 cup mayonnaise and 1/2 teaspoon ground dry mustard)
2 tablespoons sour cream
2 tablespoons sugar.. or Splenda
2 teaspoons celery seed
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

In a large bowl combine cabbage, carrots and onion, set aside.

Whisk mayonnaise, sour cream, sugar, celery seed, salt, pepper and vinegar together until well combined.
Pour dressing over cabbage mixture.

Bacon Cheddar Potato Cakes

3 slices bacon
4 cups cold leftover mashed potatoes
2 eggs
1 teaspoon onion powder (I like real chopped onion in mine)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

Place the bacon in a large, deep skillet, and cook over medium-high heat, turning occasionally, until evenly browned and crisp, about 10 minutes. Remove the bacon slices, crumble, and set aside.
Leave the bacon drippings in the skillet.
Mix the mashed potatoes, eggs, onion powder, salt, and black pepper together in a bowl; stir in the crumbled bacon and Cheddar cheese.

No Bake Butterfinger Pie

Ingredients :
7 (2 ounce) butterfinger candy bars
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 (12 ounce) carton Cool Whip
1 graham cracker crust
chocolate syrup (optional)

Directions :

Put 6 candy bars in a blender to crush them up.
Make sure there are no large chunks.
Mix together the crushed candy bars, cream cheese, and cool whip.
Pour mixture into pie crust.
Coarsely chop the last candy bar to sprinkle on top of pie.
Drizzle with chocolate syrup, if desired.
Chill pie until ready to serve (it needs at least an hour or so to firm up).

Baked Cheese Sandwiches

8 slices mild cheddar cheese, thick sliced
8 slices white bread
3 tablespoons spreadable butter

Preheat oven to 450°F.
Lightly butter one side of each slice of bread.
Place on a cookie sheet butter side down.
Place 2 slices cheese on each piece of bread.
Place other piece of bread on top, lightly butter side up.
Bake for approximately 5 minutes.
Then flip each sandwich over.
Bake additional 3-4 minute until done

Dirt Cake

1 lg. bag Oreo cookies
1/2 stick butter or margarine
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
2 lg. boxes of vanilla instant pudding
2 C, milk
1 (8 oz.) container Cool Whip
8 inch flower pot
Artificial flower (if you desire)
Crush in blender, or food processor, 1 large bag of Oreo cookies, set aside.
Cream together: 1/2 stick butter or margarine
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese

In large bowl, mix 2 large boxes of vanilla instant pudding (add amount of milk
according to package of pudding). Add cream cheese mixture and 8 ounces of Cool Whip.

Jell-O Cheese Cake

1 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon Jello
1 C. boiling water
2 (3 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese
1 C. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk,chilled

Graham Cracker Crust:--
22 Sqs. graham crackers, crushed
2/3 cube butter, melted
1/4 C. sugar

Mix together all crust ingredients. Dissolve Jello mixture and let Jello setslightly. Soften cheese and combine with sugar and vanilla to add to Jello mixture.
Whip 1 can chilled evaporated milk, then fold in Jello and cheese mixture.

7-Up Biscuits

2 cups Bisquick
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup 7-up
1/4 cup melted butter

Preheat oven to 450.
Cut sour cream into biscuit mix, add 7-Up. Makes a very soft dough.
Sprinkle additional biscuit mix on board or table and pat dough out.
Cut in to 9 biscuits.
Melt 1/4 cup butter in a 9 inch square pan.

Place cut biscuits in pan and bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.

Minute Chocolate Cake Mug

1 Coffee Mug
4 tablespoons flour(that's plain flour, not self-rising)
4 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons baking cocoa
1 egg
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional) Small splash of vanilla

Add dry ingredients to mug, and mix well . Add the egg and mix thoroughly.
Pour in the milk and oil and mix well. Add the chocolate chips (if using) and vanilla, and mix again. Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1000 watts.

Mint Ice Cream Sandwiches

1 (18.25 ounce) package chocolate cake mix
1 quart mint chocolate chip ice cream, softened

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a cookie sheet.

Mix cake mix according to package directions, omitting the eggs.
Drop by large spoonfuls onto cookie sheet, mixture should be about the consistency of brownie batter.

Bake 15 minutes in the preheated oven, or until cookies spring back when touched lightly in center. Cool completely.

To assemble, put a scoop of softened ice cream in the center of a cookie.

Broccoli Salad

3 cups Broccoli Flowerets
½ cup Sharp Reduced Fat Grated Cheddar Cheese
½ cup Red Onion, Sliced
3 tbs. Bacon Bits

¾ cup fat free salad dressing
3 tbs. Sugar
1½ Tbs. Vinegar

Combine broccoli, cheese, onion and bacon bits.

Mix salad dressing, sugar, vinegar and toss with broccoli mixture.

Yummy Hot Dogs

1 pkg. refrigerated crescent rolls
4 tsp. melted butter or margarine
4 tsp. prepared mustard
8 wieners
Sesame seeds

Separate crescents into 8 rolls. Brush each with melted butter and spread with mustard.
Place wiener on wide end and roll toward narrow end. Place on ungreased baking sheet.
Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

Bake at 375 for 12 to 14 minutes or untilrolls are lightly browned.

1 pastry or graham cracker pie shell
1 pt. strawberry, ice cream
1 C. milk
1 pkg. instant strawberry pudding

Blend ice cream and milk together in a bowl. Add strawberry pudding and beat until mixed.
Pour into pie shell.
Refrigerate 1 hour before serving

** Any flavor of Ice cream/Pudding can be used

1/2 tsp. water
Food coloring

Blend egg yolks and water together. Divide into containers and add food coloring.
Using small clean paintbrushes, paint unbaked cookies.

Bakes on a shiny glaze.

Quick & Easy Cherry Cake

2 cans pie filling
1 yellow cake mix
1 stick oleo
1/3 C. nuts, chopped

Mix cherry pie filling and cake mix with melted oleo. Pour into greased 13'x9" pan. sprinkle nuts on top.
Bake 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes.

Cheesecake Dip:

1 block cream cheese,
1 tub marshmallow cream
2 tubs cool whip mixed together

Top with:
2 cans cherry pie filling....
Serve with graham cracker sticks.

Amish Broccoli Bake

1 (10-3/4-ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
1 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2 (10-ounce) packages frozen chopped broccoli, thawed
1 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
1 (6-ounce) box herbed stuffing mix
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter, melted and divided

1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Coat a 3-quart casserole dish with cooking spray.
2.In a medium bowl, combine soup, mayonnaise, onion, salt, and pepper; mix well.

1 box of yellow or white cake mix,
2 eggs beaten,
5T melted butter,
2C chocolate chips.
