Lemon Cheese Cake Fatbombs: 

2 Lemons or lemon juice
4 oz (1/2 cup) cream cheese
1 stick unsalted butter
3/4 cup coconut oil...

50 drops liquid stevia or 2 packs (or as much as you want to taste
Don't forget the butter

Refrigerator Dill Pickles

6 to 8 pounds pickling cucumbers
40 fresh dill sprigs
2 large onions, thinly sliced
5 garlic cloves, sliced
1 quart water
1 quart white vinegar
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup canning salt

Cut each cucumber lengthwise into four spears. In a large bowl, combine the cucumbers, dill, onions and garlic; set aside.
In a Dutch oven, combine the remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil; cook and stir just until salt is dissolved. Pour over cucumber mixture; cool.
Cover tightly and refrigerate for at least 24 hours.
Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 months.

Sore Throat Tea

If you wake up with a sore throat, and begin to feel a cold coming on, mix hot water
2 Tablespoon. Honey
1 Tablespoon Vinegar
dash of cinnamon and
2 Tablespoon lemon juice

Mix well and drink you should feel better within a hour!

World's Best Cornbread Stuffing

1 package herb stuffing mix
1 package cornbread stuffing mix
1/2 cup margarine or butter
1-1/2 cups celery finely chopped
1/2 cup onion finely chopped
1 teaspoon sage
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
1 egg beaten
2 cups boiling water

Melt 1/4 cup margarine in skillet. Sauté chopped celery and onion over medium heat until tender (clear, but not brown). Add 1/4 cup boiling water to help it cook without browning.

Combine stuffing mixes in large mixing bowl. Add remaining 1/4 cup melted butter or margarine, beaten egg, cooked celery and onion, parsley and sage.

Avocado "Mayonnaise" (Paleo)

1 Medium -Large Avocado
1/2 lemon, juiced
1/4 tsp., Sea Salt
1 pinch cayenne Pepper
1/4 C. Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Scoop out the avocado flesh and put it into a blender or Food Processor,
Add lemon juice, salt and cayenne pepper and blend together.

With blender running, add olive oil slowly. You may have to stop the machine several times and stir ingredients.
Puree to a smooth creamy mixture.

Makes 3/4 Cup

Peach Frozen Yogurt

1 (16-oz.) bag frozen peaches or 4 cups fresh peaches, frozen solid
3 Tablespoons agave nectar or honey
1/2 cup plain yogurt (non-fat or whole)
1 Tablespoon fresh lemon juice

Add the frozen peaches, agave nectar (or honey), yogurt and lemon juice to the bowl of a food processor. Process until creamy, about 5 minutes.
Serve the frozen yogurt immediately or transfer it to an airtight container and store it in the freezer for up to 1 month.

Heavy Duty Floor Cleaner

I ONLY use this and it leaves floor spotless.

1 cup white vinegar
1 tablespoon liquid dish soap
1 cup baking soda,
2 gallons tap water, (very warm.)

It leaves everything smelling amazing.

Beer-Battered Onion Rings

10 oz. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. white pepper
1 egg
1 pt. beer
4 lb. onions, whole
flour, as needed for dredging

Sift the dry ingredients together.
Beat the egg in a separate bowl. Add the beer to the beaten egg.
Add the egg-and-beer mixture to the dry ingredients; mix until smooth.
Peel the onions and cut in 1/2 in (1.2 cm) thick slices.
Break the slices into rings and dredge in flour.
Dip the rings in the batter a few at a time.
Using the swimming method, deep-fry at 375°F (191°C) until done.

Lemon Herb Seasoning

1/4 cup + 1 tbl. Dried basil, rumbled
1/4 cup dried oregano, crumbled
1 1/2 tablespoons pepper
1 1/2 tablespoons dried onion flakes, crumbled
1 1/2 tablespoons whole celery seeds
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon dried grated lemon zest

In a small bowl, stir all ingredients until well blended.
Store in a jar with a tight-fitting lid in a cool, dry, dark place for up to 6 months

Heloise's No-Salt Substitute

5 teaspoons onion powder
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon paprika
1 tablespoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon thyme
1/2 teaspoon white pepper
1/2 teaspoon celery seed

Mix all ingredients and store in a tightly covered container in a cool, dark place.

Tip: Never store spices near the stove....they lose their zip!

You can double the amounts to make extra and store as stated above.

Applesauce Sauerkraut

4 cups sauerkraut, rinsed and drained
2 cups sweetened applesauce
1/2 tsp caraway seeds
1 Tblsp. butter or margarine

Combine all ingredients. Place in a greased 2 quart casserole.

Bake at 375° F. for 30 to 45 minutes.

Serves 6.

All-Purpose Cleaner

1 (16 oz.) bottle rubbing alcohol
1/2 cup sudsy ammonia
1 teaspoon liquid dish soap, like Dawn or Joy

Pour ingredients into empty gallon container or empty gallon milk jug.
Fill the rest of the container with water.
Put into spray bottle and refill as needed

Yummy Hot Dogs

1 pkg. refrigerated crescent rolls
4 tsp. melted butter or margarine
4 tsp. prepared mustard
8 wieners
Sesame seeds

Separate crescents into 8 rolls. Brush each with melted butter and spread with mustard.
Place wiener on wide end and roll toward narrow end. Place on ungreased baking sheet.
Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

Bake at 375 for 12 to 14 minutes or untilrolls are lightly browned.

Apple Muffin Mix

Apple Muffin Mix

2 C. Self rising flour
1/2 C. Sugar
1/4 C. Brown sugar
1 tsp. Cinnamon
1/4 tsp. Nutmeg
1 C. Chopped dried apple

Mix: Combine and store in an airtight container.

Attach this to the Jar:
1 pk Mix
1 Egg
3/4 C. Milk
1/4 C. Vegetable oil

Preheat oven to 400.
Mix all ingredients just until moistened.
Fill greased muffin cups 3/4 full.
Bake 15-18 minutes, or until golden brown.

Apple, Cinnamon, Walnut Oatmeal Mix

1 package {7 oz.} dried apples
1 container {18 oz.} quick-cooking oats
1 jar {3 oz.} non-dairy creamer
1/2 cup firmly-packed brown sugar
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

Place dried apples in a processor; process until finely chopped. Add remaining ingredients and process until well blended.
Store in airtight container. Give with serving instructions.
Makes 7 1/2 cups mix; about 15 servings.

Attach to jar or container: Stir 2/3 cup boiling water into 1/2 cup oatmeal mix until well blended. Let stand until thickened.

Amaretto Coffee Creamer

3/4 cup non-dairy coffee creamer
1 tsp. almond extract
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
3/4 cup confectioners sugar

Combine all ingredients in a container with a tight fitting lid. Shake well to blend.
Store in airtight container and give creamer with the recipe for AmarettoCoffee.

Yields 12 servings.

Attach to the jar: Amaretto Coffee: In a mug, combine 2 tablespoons of creamer with 6 ounces of coffee.

Pumpkin Pie Popcorn

1 C. Light brown sugar; packed
1/4 C Light corn syrup
1/4 C.Water
3 Tblsp. Butter
1 tsp. Pumpkin pie spice
8 C. Popped corn

In a heavy saucepan, combine brown sugar, corn syrup, water, butter, and pumpkin pie spice.
Bring to a boil, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Reduce heat and gently boil, stirring occasionally, until a candy
thermometer reaches 285 degrees (syrup separates into hard, but not brittle, threads when dropped into very cold water).

Gradually pour over popcorn, tossing to coatevenly.
Spread out on a lightly buttered cookie sheet.

Apple Pie Spice Blend

1/4 cup ground cinnamon
1 tbsp ground allspice
2 tsp ground nutmeg*
2 tsp ground ginger
1/2 tsp ground cardamom (optional)

Combine all ingredients for desired mix and blend well. Store in a small, airtight container.
Feel free to experiment with amounts to get a blend that works for you.

*If using freshly ground nutmeg, you might want to cut back a little bit because the flavor can be quite strong. Since you’re going to be storing the
mix anyway, it is not crucial to use freshly ground here.

Root Beer Infused Vodka

14 root beer candies
4 ounces Smirnoff Fluffed Vodka

Crush candies in a food processor or in a resealable plastic bag using a

Shake to combine.
Allow to dissolve.
After 1-2 hours candies should be dissolved into vodka.

Chicken Pot Pie

2 C. chicken (1 fryer or 4 breasts)
1 (20 oz.) pkg. frozen mixed vegetables
2 cans cream of chicken soup
1 C, chicken broth


1 C. self rising flour
1 stick margarine
1 C. milk

Cut chicken into chunks. May be pre-cooked. For convenience canned chicken breast may be used.
Layer vegetables, chicken and soup mixture in a 2 quart greased casserole dish.
Pour topping over the mixture and bake at 400 degrees for 1 hour or until golden brown.

How to Make Pastry Flour

If you've ever come across a recipe calling for pastry flour, but cannot find it locally, pastry flour can be attained by mixing equal parts cake flour and all-purpose flour.

Food coloring

Blend egg yolks and water together. Divide into containers and add food coloring.
Using small clean paintbrushes, paint unbaked cookies.

Bakes on a shiny glaze.

Summer Bruschetta

1 1/2 lbs. Roma tomatoes
1/2 cup fresh basil leaves
1 T. fresh oregano leaves
1 T. minced garlic
1 T. balsamic vinegar
1 T. olive oil
1 t. fresh lemon juice
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 inch crusty French bread slices
Garlic flavored olive oil

For tomato spread, seed and chop tomatoes; chop the basil and oregano. Mix with garlic, vinegar, and 1 T. olive oil and lemon juice in a bowl.
Season with salt and pepper.
Spoon into a serving bowl.

For Bruschetta: brush bread with garlic flavored olive oil.
Grill for 5 to 8 minutes or until toasted.
